Reaching the Full Bronze level in ballroom dancing is a significant accomplishment. At this stage, your technique and styling should be perfect. It should be polished and refined, showcasing an excellent understanding of the dance form. Full Bronze represents an excellent level in social ballroom dancing. Yet Full Bronze still does not mean mastering the art of ballroom dancing.
While many people associate specific dances like Swing, Fox Trot, Salsa, Tango, or Rumba with ballroom dancing, it’s important to clarify that these are just a few of the many styles that fall under the ballroom umbrella. We often receive calls from potential students who express interest in learning these specific dances. New students frequently express a desire to learn specific ballroom dances like the ones mentioned above. However, they explicitly state they don’t want to learn ballroom dancing. It’s a puzzling contradiction. To address this misconception, we take the time to educate callers about the different dance styles and how they fall under the umbrella term “ballroom dancing”.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to educating our clients, even those who may not ultimately choose to take lessons with us. Our belief is that by providing clear explanations and guidance, we empower our clients to make informed decisions. This approach extends to all aspects of our business, where we prioritize education and transparency.
By investing time in educating our clients, we foster trust and build strong relationships. This approach has proven successful in retaining clients, with many continuing their dance journey through the Gold level. Our dedicated staff, extensively trained in both technical skills and teaching methodology, plays a crucial role in this process. Beyond mastering dance patterns, we emphasize the importance of lead and follow, technique, and styling to create a truly exceptional dance experience. In this way, students are truly mastering the art of ballroom dancing.
